Jessica Simpson and John Mayer: on again

Jessica Simpson gave her former publicist the ax for spreading rumors that she was not only dating John Mayer, but she was also "in love" with him.

TMZ reported that Jessica and John went up to some hotel room and didn't leave all night, that was a few months ago. Now, it seems like Jess is back with Mr. Mayer. Over the weekend, the couple were spotted getting cozy in several spots over the weekend.

A source e-mailed E! saying, "Jessica Simpson totally had her head on his chest, and now they are canoodling."

Jessica and Mayer may be enjoying each other's company more than we thought, but they're definitely staying quiet about their potentially blossoming romance. Jessica probably wants to make sure she doesn't scare Mayer off!

Jessica's representative has refused to confirm the new relationship, saying the stunning blonde is "not commenting on her personal life."

I really like these two together. They probably won't last, but it's good to hear Jess is getting laid. Her hot bod should not be put to waste. I don't like the pic I posted of John, but I want his ass. Go Jess.
