Hugh Grant has been arrested and questioned by police after allegedly attacking a paparazzi and saying, "I hope your kids die of f**king cancer".
The incident took place on Tuesday morning, when the Music And Lyrics star lashed out at photographer Ian Whittaker for taking his picture. Grant hurled a container of baked beans at Whittaker before repeatedly kicking and swearing at him.
Grant's lawyer, Schillings said an incident had taken place and was now under investigation.
A police spokeswoman confirmed a 46-year-old man had been arrested on Wednesday evening and questioned at a London police station after an allegation of assault in west London. He was bailed and expected to return in May.
