Former Spice Girl Melanie Brown opened up to OK! magazine about the birth of her daughter, Angel Iris Murphy Brown. Although the alleged baby-daddy, Eddie Murphy, has thus far refused to acknowledge that the child is his, Mel B still listed Murphy as the father.
In a statement released today, Mel B explained the meaning of her daughter’s name: “Angel, as she was my little angel through my pregnancy. Iris, as it’s my grandma’s name, Murphy because he’s the dad, and Brown, because I’m the Mum!”
Mel B gave birth to her daughter in Santa Monica, CA on April 3rd.
