R&B star Rihanna will release of her third album in just two years. Rihanna revealed her record label bosses at Def Jam are sure of her talent and they will continue to be in the charts with her singles and albums. Rihannas’ yet untitled album comes out in June, and the R&B star says that for his album the sound has changed, “it’s a lot edgier than the rest of the stuff that anyone has heard from me before […] it’s a lot sexier.”
Def Jam President Shawn ‘Jay-Z’ Carter said about Rihanna’s album : “it shows such growth for her as an artist. If you listen to the lyrics to that song, you know the depth and how far she’s come.”
Personally, I didn't like the sound of it. It was too repetitive and it's not a good song for her voice. There is no video yet but you can listen to it here, what do you think.

Usher confirmed the engagement Wednesday to MTV News, ending speculation that he had popped the question. Foster has been photographed recently with a diamond ring on her finger. Usher told MTV he could be walking down the aisle before the end of the year.

1970 : Discrimination Banned in Hollywood
In response to government scrutiny of Hollywood hiring practices, studios agree on this day in 1970 to increase minority employment and adopt an equal-opportunity employment agreement worked out with the Justice Department banning discrimination. The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission had been warning the industry for more than a year to change its ways or face a government lawsuit.
This should have happened LONG before 1970!

Travolta, a Scientologist, claimed the solution to global warming could be found in outer space and blamed his hefty flying mileage on the nature of the movie business.
"It [global warming] is a very valid issue," Travolta declared. "I'm wondering if we need to think about other planets and dome cities.

Michelle Branch halted a concert to point out that her stalker was in the audience . Security took it from there. But it would have been much hotter if a normally passive Michelle Branch fan base had felt the blood lust and jumped his ass and beat him on her say-so.

According to the NYDN, J.Lo refused to go the Latin shops to promote her first ever Spanish language album while doing her promo rounds around the country.
They are upset because they have been supporting J.Lo since day 1 but no more! Ritmo Latino has banned all J.Lo CDs from its 50 stores.
Ritmo President, David Massry, said that J.Lo "has refused personally to promote her new CD in any of our stores" and won't go to stores only devoted to Latin music.
"We've supported her from the beginning. Now we're told by her record company she will only visit Anglo retail outlets," Massry said.
"This is a Spanish-language CD, and if she wants to discriminate against the Latin community, then we will not sell her product," Massry said.
"This is not the first time this has happened. Celebrities have this notion that when they reach a certain level of crossover appeal, they forget quickly where they started," he said. "We will no longer tolerate these situations."
In Jennifer's defense, I don’t think she knows where she is going to promote her album since her record label makes those decisions.

Norah Jones (born Geethali Norah Jones Shankar on March 30, 1979 in Brooklyn, New York) is a Grammy Award-winning American singer-songwriter and occasional actress.

Jones' career was launched with her massively successful 2002 debut album Come Away with Me, a contemporary pop album with a sensual, plaintive soul/folk/country tinge, which sold over twenty million copies worldwide and received eight Grammy Awards, including the "Grammy Award for Best New Artist". Prosecutors asked a judge on Thursday to revoke Paris Hilton's probation for reckless driving, which could lead to jail time for the celebrity socialite, the City Attorney's Office said.source
A hearing has been set for April 17 for prosecutors to argue that Hilton, 26, violated the terms of her probation by knowingly driving with a suspended license, said Nick Velasquez, a spokesman for the city attorney, Rocky Delgadillo.
The hotel heiress and star of the reality TV show "The Simple Life" was sentenced to three years probation in January after pleading no contest -- the equivalent of a guilty plea -- to alcohol-related reckless driving.
Five weeks later, police pulled Hilton over again in the city of West Hollywood for driving without headlights and impounded her car, a $190,000 Bentley, when they discovered her license had been suspended, authorities said.
The case was then referred to the City Attorney's Office.
At the time, Hilton's spokesman, Elliot Mintz, said his client was not aware that her driving privileges had been curtailed. But prosecutors have since concluded otherwise.
"We are confident that we have sufficient evidence to prove that her license was suspended, and that she had knowledge of that suspension," Velasquez said.
If found to have breached the terms of her probation, Hilton could be sentenced to up to 90 days in jail, he added.

Kind of a boring cover, but this issuse sounds interesting. 1939 : Clark Gable & Carole Lombard Marry
Clark Gable and Carole Lombard marry on this day in 1939 as Gable is filming Gone with the Wind. The marriage was considered one of Hollywood's happiest but ended in tragedy when Lombard was killed in a plane crash in 1942, en route from a War Bond drive. Gable joined the air force shortly after her death, rose to the rank of major, and won several medals.
Gable was born in Ohio in 1901, the son of a farmer who later became an oil driller. Gable went to work at a tire factory in Akron, Ohio, at age 14. He began attending theater and started working as a backstage runner in the evenings but moved to Oklahoma with his father in his late teens to drill for oil. At age 21, he joined a traveling theater troupe, then worked as a lumberjack and salesman in Oregon before joining another troupe. He married the head of the troupe, who was 14 years his senior, in 1924, and the couple moved to Hollywood. Gable occasionally worked as a film extra but had no luck landing bigger roles, so he returned to live theater. He was cast in several successful Broadway productions, played a lead role in the Los Angeles production of a hit play in 1930, and landed a screen test-which he failed. He and his wife divorced the same year.
Finally, in 1931, he was cast as a villain in a western called The Painted Desert, and MGM signed him immediately. He stole the show in A Free Soul, with Norma Shearer and Lesley Howard, and married his second wife, a rich Texas socialite some 17 years his senior, the same year. In 1934, against his wishes, MGM lent him to Columbia to star in It Happened One Night with Claudette Colbert. Both won Oscars for the film.
Carole Lombard, born Jane Alice Peters in 1908, grew up in Los Angeles and made her first film appearance at age 12. She signed with Fox in 1925, but it was only after the studio terminated her contract and she signed with Mack Sennett in 1927 that her gift for comedy was discovered. She starred in several brilliant screwball comedy, including Twentieth Century (1934) and My Man Godfrey (1936). She married actor William Powell in 1931, but divorced him two years later.
Lombard and Gable began seeing each other in 1935, shortly after Gable separated from his second wife. His career flourished during this period, and he won his greatest role, as Rhett Butler, in Gone with the Wind in 1939. Three years later, Lombard starred in Ernst Lubitsch's brilliant comedy, To Be or Not To Be (1942). It was her last film.
After Lombard's tragic death and Gable's subsequent air force stint, he returned to Hollywood in Adventure (1945), but his career had cooled. He allegedly began drinking heavily, and MGM dropped his contract. His last film, The Misfits (1961), seemed to promise a comeback, but he died of a heart attack before its release-and before the birth of his only child, John Gable, who was born to Gable's fifth wife, Kay Spreckles, in 1960, shortly after Gable's death.

Victoria Beckham and Katie Holmes are more than fake BFFs, they're businesswomen too!! The duo are launching a children's clothing line. The pair has said to have bonded over their love of fashion and motherhood and is planning on combining their skills and passion to design their own line.
A source told Britain’s Daily Express newspaper, “They are both really excited about this new project. Katie recently sketched out some designs for a party dress for Suri’s first birthday and Victoria saw there was the potential there for the two of them to come up with some great designs. “As they are both mothers who love fashion, it couldn’t have been more ideal for them.”
As Britney left a church service last week, a member of her security team threatened a photographer with a gun. The photog was attempting to snap photos of Brit, and the security dude freaked, because, you know, a photographer attempting to take photos of Britney Spears is such a rare and outrageous occurrence.
The undercover officer aimed his weapon at the paparazzi and shouted: ‘Get out of your car, get down’.
He then handcuffed him and accused him of trying to run over a traffic policeman before finally releasing him.
The incident happened as Brit, 25, left a service at a church in Hollywood.
A witness said: “When her 4X4 came out (police) officers stopped the traffic and let her go ahead and held paparazzi back.
‘One photographer tried to get past and suddenly two undercover security guards ran out into the street. The photographer looked terrified. It’s not what you expect to see outside a church service.’
Mike Hooper, executive director of the Bela Air Presbyterian Church, said: ‘One photographer was on the wrong side of the road and tried to run over an officer who had stopped traffic.
‘He kept coming and one of our guards pulled a gun out. I cannot speak for the security officer but he does not regret it. This is a church, not a concert.’

Stiles has also worked for Habitat for Humanity, building housing in Costa Rica, and has worked with Amnesty International to try to raise awareness of the harsh conditions of immigration detention of unaccompanied juveniles; Marie Claire magazine, in January 2004, featured Stiles' trip to see conditions at the Berks County Youth Center in Leesport, Pennsylvania. Additionally, Stiles serves on the Board of Directors of Amend.org, a New York-based nonprofit that implements childhood injury prevention programs in Africa.
Stiles is also an ex-vegan. When interviewed by Conan O'Brien, she said the word "orgasm" came to mind when she had her first cheeseburger after giving up veganism. The actress has described herself as a feminist and wrote on the subject in The Guardian. Stiles told Gotham Magazine in 2005 that "I'd never be in Playboy or anything close to that, not that anyone would ask" and in fact hates being photographed.
Stiles has dated actors Joseph Gordon-Levitt (in 1999) and Joshua Jackson (in 2000).
Stiles is also an avid baseball fan. Her favorite team is the New York Mets. She threw the ceremonial first pitch before their May 29, 2006 game.

Since they split in November, Hilary Duff and Joel Madden hadn't run into each other – until now.
"I just did TRL today and Joel was there, and it was the first time we'd seen each other and it was so, like, nerve-racking," Duff, 19, told People Monday at the 18th annual GLAAD Media Awards in New York City. "I knew that he was going to be there and he knew. It is what it is."
But Duff, who dated Madden, 28, for nearly two and a half years, was realistic about the situation. "I mean, what am I going to do?" she said. "It's life."
Since their breakup, Madden has been dating Nicole Richie, 25, and Duff has been single (something she's called "kind of exciting"). Still, Duff told Ryan Seacrest in January that she and her ex keep in touch and have "a great relationship."
So was their run-in awkward? "It was a little strange at first, but I wish nothing but good for him and I know that he wishes the same for me," Duff told PEOPLE. "I'm happy and he's happy and I think that's all that counts."

"Today" co-host Meredith Vieira hit her head on the ice rink at Rockefeller Center Monday, during a live segment in which Will Ferrell was promoting his new ice skating movie.
Vieira and Ferrell were on skates during a segment just before 9 a.m. EDT, with Ferrell showing Vieira some moves he had learned for "Blades of Glory," which opens Friday. In one maneuver, Vieira passed under Ferrell's legs when she fell backward and hit her head.
"Owww, that hurt," Vieira said as a surprised Ferrell helped her get back on her feet. Vieira didn't miss a beat, however, adding, "We'll be right back."

Though she was born to a Vietnamese family in Singapore, Tila Nguyen spent much of her life in Houston, TX, the place to which her parents had immigrated when she was just one year old.
With a childhood full of fights and rebellion (it was in high school that she allegedly got her nickname, Tila Tequila, after an adverse reaction to the alcohol) Tila eventually moved to Hollywood when she was 18 in order to pursue a career there. 1952 : Singin' in the Rain Opens
Considered by many to be the greatest Hollywood musical ever made, Singin' in the Rain premieres at New York's Radio City Music Hall. The movie, about silent film actors at the dawn of the sound era, starred Gene Kelly, who also served as co-director and co-choreographer.
Kelly was born in 1912 in Pittsburgh. The son of a gramophone salesman, he started dancing at age eight, but his true interest was sports. In high school, he played baseball, football, and hockey, and dreamed of becoming a professional shortstop. He attended Penn State but dropped out to help support his family during the Depression by digging ditches and pumping gas. Later, he studied journalism at the University of Pennsylvania, where he starred in college musicals and gave dance lessons for 50 cents each in the basement of his parents' house.
After college, Kelly and his brother started up a dance studio, while Kelly aspired to become a Broadway star. At age 26, he was cast in the chorus of a Broadway show and two years later starred in the Broadway hit Pal Joey. The following year, he choreographed his first musical, Billy Rose's Diamond Horseshoe, married the first of his three wives, and signed with MGM. He made his film debut in 1942, dancing with Judy Garland in For Me and My Gal, but his real cinematic breakthrough came in 1944, when he danced with a double-exposed image of himself in Cover Girl, also starring Rita Hayworth. Kelly's athletic, masculine dance style contrasted with the smooth elegance of the top-hatted Fred Astaire and redefined the Hollywood musical. Whereas Astaire represented the wealthy and refined, Kelly's dancing symbolized the regular guy--the "working-class stiff," as Kelly described himself, full of energy, strength, and athleticism.
Kelly's next hit, Anchors Aweigh (1945), won him a Best Actor nomination for his portrayal of an exuberant sailor on 24-hour leave in New York. He spent the next two years in the real navy, as a lieutenant making training films during World War II. He returned to make some of his greatest hits, including On the Town (1949), which he co-directed with Stanley Donen. In 1952, Kelly choreographed and starred in the hit An American in Paris, in which he performed a 17-minute ballet. The movie won eight Oscars, and Kelly was awarded a special Oscar recognizing his "versatility as an actor, singer, director, and dancer, and especially for his brilliant achievements in the art of choreography on film." Kelly continued to dance, act, direct, and choreograph throughout the 1960s and early 1970s. He married twice more and had three children. He died in 1996, at the age of 83.

She is a former member of the kids' TV series Kids Incorporated, and the girl group Wild Orchid. She also used to be a co-host of the TV show Great Pretenders. Wild Orchid
Ferguson was a member of the female trio Wild Orchid, which she fronted with Stefanie Ridel and fellow Kids Incorporated star Renee Sandstrom. Wild Orchid released two albums, but after completing a third album, their record label declined to release it, and she left the group shortly thereafter. Her disappointment with Wild Orchid led to an addiction to crystal methamphetamine. She told a Glasgow paper, "I started doing ecstasy. Then I got addicted to crystal methamphetamine. My weight dropped to 90 lbs so I lied to my friends and said I was bulimic. Finally, I started going crazy." In September 2006, Ferguson talked with Time magazine about quitting her crystal meth addiction. "It was the hardest boyfriend I ever had to break up with," she says. "It's the drug that's addicting. But it's why you start doing it in the first place that's interesting. A lot of it was being a child actor; I learned to suppress feelings."
Black Eyed Peas
In 2003, Ferguson took over the lead female vocal duties for the Black Eyed Peas, replacing background singer Kim Hill, who left the group in 2000. Ferguson recorded five songs with the group before she was invited to join them permanently. Ferguson's addition to the band, which had enjoyed underground success until then, helped them quickly grow into mainstream popularity

Ferguson is dating actor Josh Duhamel, who stars in the television show Las Vegas. Ferguson appeared in this series in an episode titled "Montecito Lancers".

First-love Justin, who dated Britney for four years, is convinced the song can propel Britney back to the top of the charts and give her confidence a massive boost. He was saddened to see Britney's recent decline and approached her family to help.

1970 : Woodstock Documentary Premieres
The classic documentary Woodstock, showing the 1969 concert that drew half a million people and kicked off the "Summer of Love," premieres. The film won an Oscar for Best Documentary.

- ANS died as a result of accidental overdose
- No evidence of disease
- At the time of death, she was on methadone, anti-depressants, growth hormones, and weight loss pills
- She injected growth hormones, either ammuno-globulin or another longevity drug into her ass cheek before she came to the States
- She complained about the injection site on the flight to Fort Lauderdale, and in the limo from the airport, she had chills and was cold. When she arrived at the hotel she was spiking a fever. She was asked by HKS and others to go to the hospital and she firmly refused.
- At that time her shrink friend prescribed flu drugs, put her in an ice bath, and was given chlora hydrate
- She could not eat, only could have fluids. But by Wednesday, she was doing better.
- On Thursday, the day she died, ANS was awake, talked to HKS, he helped her to the bathroom, she was coherent but weak, then she came back and went to bed. That was the last he saw of her.
- ME confirmed there was no delay in talking her to the hospital, and she was not dead when paramedics arrived
- No abccess visible on the buttocks, but when sliced open, they found major scarring, abccesses and hemoraging from it. The high fever was due to the perforation of the abcess and the leaking of blood but there was no blood poisoning.
According to Chief of Seminole police Charlie Tiger:
- No evidence of illegal drugs
- No foul play
- Nothing unusual on security camera tapes from hotel
- Nothing on HKS's or ANS's laptop, but these were the new evidence delaying the autopsy
- Accidental overdose according to Charlie Tiger
- No criminal charges to be laid at this point

Keira Christina Knightley (born March 26, 1985) is an Academy Award and Golden Globe-nominated English film actress.

She began her career as a child actress, and came to international fame in 2003, after major roles in the films Bend It Like Beckham and the Pirates of the Caribbean trilogy.
Knightley was born in Teddington, Middlesex, England to Sharman Macdonald, a Scottish/Irish actress turned award-winning playwright, and Will Knightley, an English theater and television actor. She has an older brother, Caleb (b. 1979). Knightley lived most of her life in Richmond, attending Teddington School and Esher College. Knightley suffers from dyslexia, but nevertheless achieved good grades in school to please her parents, and was thus permitted to have an agent and pursue an acting career. Knightley has noted that she was "single-minded about acting" during her childhood. She performed in a number of local amateur productions including After Juliet (written by her mother) and United States (written by her then drama teacher, John McShane).
Personal Life:
Knightley, who currently lives in Central London, is dating her Pride and Prejudice co-star, Rupert Friend. She has previously dated Irish male fashion model Jamie Dornan, as well as actor Del Synnott, who according to some reports, attempted suicide after their relationship ended, although Synnott and Knightley deny these claims. Knightley has stated that she feels uncomfortable dressing up and that she prefers British men over Americans, because she feels that British men are less concerned about their own appearance.
She has denied rumors she is anorexic, although she has noted that her family has a history of anorexia, after her appearance at the Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest premiere led to media speculation that her extremely slender figure was due to an eating disorder. In July of 2006, Knightley noted that she believes that she has become a workaholic, detailing that "the last five years have blended into one. Nelly Furtado looks divine in the new issue of Candian magazine Flare. In the interview she talks about the possiblity of doing a duet with Kylie, which I for one would love to hear:
“I really relate to Kylie Minogue’s strong work ethic,” she says. “She feels like she owes it to her fans to keep going. She’s always really gracious. I find it extremely honourable that, after she healed [Minogue has battled breast cancer], she headed back to finish her tour. I’ve met her a couple of times and she’s full of good energy. Not surprisingly, Furtado also made quite the impression on Minogue. After their last meeting, Furtado got a call from Kylie’s camp to see if she was available to collaborate with her for the Aussie pop queen’s next album. “We might do a duet,” Furtado says, smiling, revealing nothing else of her plans for the track. “We were supposed to hook up and write in London last week, but she was feeling a little under the weather. But we’re trying to make it happen.”

Prince Harry had a few too many vodka and red bulls while in Bijous, in London last night. These pictures taken by News Of The World Photographers show Harry having a scrap with one of the photogs and falling over drunk moments later. 1957 : Ricky Nelson Records First Hits
Ricky Nelson, the real-life son of Ozzie and Harriet Nelson, who played himself on the hit radio and TV series The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet, cuts his first records, "A Teenager's Romance" and "I'm Walkin'." A few weeks later, he sang the songs on the TV series and became an overnight pop star, despite his complete lack of musical experience.
Nelson was born in 1940 to famous parents: His father, Ozzie, was a bandleader, and his mother, Harriet, was a singer and actress. When Ricky was four years old, his parents launched their radio series, playing themselves, with actors playing their young sons. Five years later, Ricky and his older brother, David, suggested that they, like their parents, play themselves on the series. In 1952, the series moved to TV.
Nelson attended Hollywood High School and showed little interest in music until his girlfriend raved to him about Elvis. He boasted that he was about to cut a record himself. His father let him cut a demo with his orchestra; Nelson claimed he chose to cover Fats Domino's "I'm Walkin'" because it relied heavily on the two guitar chords Nelson knew how to play.
When Nelson played the song on the TV series, he became an overnight sensation. His first album, released in November 1957, topped the Billboard charts, and Nelson became one of the best-selling male singers of the 1950s, with 53 Hot 100 hits, 17 in the Top 10. Nelson later changed his name from Ricky to Rick. He also appeared in several movies, including Rio Bravo, with John Wayne and Dean Martin, in 1959 and The Wackiest Ship in the Army in 1960.
After Ozzie and Harriet went off the air in 1966, Nelson's music career fizzled until he discovered the emerging style of country rock. On two albums, he covered country material and scored a few hits in the late 1960s and early 1970s. Although he would never be a superstar again, he continued touring aggressively, performing more than 200 nights a year. He put together a new band in 1985 and signed a new record deal, but on December 31, en route to a concert in Texas, he died in a plane crash at age 45. The last song he performed live, the night before, was a cover of "Rave On" by Buddy Holly, who also died in a plane crash.

Reginald Kenneth Dwight was born in Pinner, Middlesex, a London suburb. His father, Stanley Dwight, was an officer in the Royal Air Force and was frequently away; his mother's name was Sheila Harris. His childhood home was 55 Pinner Hill Road. Reginald was educated at Pinner County Grammar School and Royal Academy of Music.
Stanley Dwight had once played trumpet with an American-styled big band called Bob Miller and The Milkmen. He and Sheila were avid record buyers, exposing Reginald to the music of pianists Winifred Atwell, Nat King Cole, and George Shearing, and to singers Rosemary Clooney, Frank Sinatra, Kay Starr, Johnnie Ray, Guy Mitchell, Jo Stafford, and Frankie Laine. Aged 3 Reginald started playing the piano, while by age 4, his parents recognized Reginald's talent, and would often ask him to play at parties.
His mother was buying him records by rock 'n' roll acts like Presley and Bill Haley and his Comets. By the time he started attending the Royal Academy of Music on a scholarship at age 11, Reginald's musical inspiration was rock 'n' roll.
Reginald preferred playing by ear. Sub professor Helen Piena once said that upon the boy's entrance into the Academy, she'd played him a four-page piece by Handel, which he promptly played back for her like a "gramophone record." Reginald enjoyed playing Chopin and Bach and singing in the choir during his Saturday classes at the Academy, but was not otherwise a diligent classical student. As he remembered decades later, "I kind of resented going to the Academy. I was one of those children who could just about get away without practicing and still pass, scrape through the grades." Sometimes, he would play truant and ride around the Tube. Yet Piena saw Reginald as a "model student."
A student at the Academy for five years, Reginald rounded out the little free time he had with a newspaper route and a job at a wine shop on Saturday afternoons after class. At Pinner Country Grammar School, he was more advanced musically than his peers and had an aptitude for songwriting, dashing off good melodies for his composition assignments.
Reginald's record collection grew rapidly. He took sustenance in the early rock 'n' roll piano pioneers, annoying his father, who wanted him to concentrate on the classics, and frightening his mother with a fascination for music of the sexual, androgynous Little Richard. Reginald gained some notoriety by playing like Jerry Lee Lewis at Pinner County Grammar School functions, and even sang.
In 1962, Reginald's parents divorced.

In a career spanning four decades, Elton John has sold over 250 million records and has over 50 Top 40 hits, making him one of the most successful musicians of all time. It’s been revealed that Johnny Depp’s daughter Lily-Rose battled E. coli poisoning earlier this month rather than blood poisoning as initially reported.
Staff at Pinewood Studios, where Johnny had been filming Sweeney Todd, were told that Lily-Rose’s kidneys shut down as a result of the virus and she was very lucky to survive.source

E. coli (Escherichia coli) is one of the main types of bacteria found in the lower intestines of mammals but some strains cause potentially severe illness in humans. Around 1000 people a year are treated for E. coli poisoning in the UK, usually contracted from eating contaminated food and drink. It has up to a 50% mortality rate in the elderly and children under five and can also lead to long-term kidney and sight problems.
Filming on Sweeney Todd was temporarily halted while Johnny looked after Lily-Rose but staff at the studio have been told by Warner Bros producers that it will resume again on Monday.

Eminem, who once performed a song about violently murdering his ex wife Kim Mathers and then beat up a doll of her on stage during a concert in Detroit is now filing a motion to prevent Kim from bad mouthing him. The motion, if granted would forbid Kim from saying "derogatory, disparaging, inflammatory, and otherwise negative comments" about him Eminem in interviews. He is claiming that Kim’s trash-talking is harming their daughter Hallie, and will appear in court on Monday to discuss the motion. Just what is Kim Mathers saying about Eminem? In the past 2 months she has given a slew of interview claiming that she vomits in her mouth whenever she hears his name, that Eminem is not terribly well endowed, that he's a bad father, and that he drove her to attempt suicide.Eminem says that she must be muzzled to "protect the child from further harm," and to prevent "any further behavior likely to expose the minor child to humiliation and hostility."
I agree that the things Kim says in interviews are damaging to the children, but his songs were too. They both need to grow up and stop thinking about themselves.
Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet, who played ill-starred lovers in the 1997 smash "Titanic," are reuniting for a drama about post-war disillusionment, Hollywood trade paper Daily Variety reported on Friday.
"Revolutionary Road" will be directed by Winslet's husband, British filmmaker Sam Mendes, who won an Oscar for "American Beauty."
The DreamWorks project is based on the 1961 novel by Richard Yates, Daily Variety said. It revolves around a suburban 1950s couple tragically caught between their true desires and the pressure to conform.
I am so excited to see them together again, I think they have phenomenal chemistry on screen.

Annabella Gloria Philomena Sciorra (born March 24, 1964) is an American film and stage actress who has starred in a number of films and television series.
She's 43!
Sciorra was born in Wethersfield, Connecticut to a veterinarian father of Italian descent and a mother of Italian descent. At age eleven, her family moved to New York City, where as a teenager she began taking acting lessons. She attended South Shore High School in the Canarsie neighborhood of Brooklyn. Sciorra formed The Brass Ring Theatre Company when she was 20 years old.
Sciorra first came to widespread attention in her co-lead role in Spike Lee's 1991 film, Jungle Fever. Other major films roles include The Hand That Rocks the Cradle and What Dreams May Come. She is also familiar to many viewers as Tony Soprano's mistress, Gloria Trillo, in the HBO series The Sopranos, for which she received an Emmy nomination.
Sciorra also made a guest appearance in the first episode of Law & Order: Trial by Jury. She later joined the cast of Law & Order: Criminal Intent as Detective Carolyn Barek, partner to Detective Mike Logan (played by Chris Noth). After one year, she was replaced by Julianne Nicholson as Detective Megan Wheeler, who played Christina Finn on the short-lived NBC legal drama Conviction. 1940 : First episode of Truth or Consequences
Long-running radio game show Truth or Consequences debuts on this day in 1940. The show, hosted by Ralph Edwards, ran for 16 years.
Edwards broke into radio in 1935 and quickly became an announcer for shows like Original Amateur Hour. Not satisfied with the low-profile announcer's job, he decided to launch his own show: He approached Ivory Soap with an idea for a show based on an old party game, Truth or Consequences, and the company agreed to sponsor the show.
Truth or Consequences first aired in 1940 and became an instant hit. Unlike giveaway game shows, where the draw was huge cash prizes, Truth or Consequences paid only $15 for right answers. For wrong answers, guests were required to perform outrageous stunts--pushing walnuts across the stage with their noses, howling like a dog, collecting hundreds of thousands of pennies, digging for buried treasure, and a wide range of other pranks. Some of the shows more elaborate setups took months to arrange: A New Jersey woman, for instance, was taken to a New York theater and told to play the violin for 1,500 unsuspecting people who had turned up to see a European musician promoted for weeks as the Great Yiffniff. It only took a moment for the audience to realize they'd been had; after an explanation by the show's host, they were treated to a real concert, though not by the fictional Yiffniff.
The series moved to primetime TV in 1950 for one season, then returned in 1954 and ran for four more seasons. Meanwhile, a daytime version of the TV show ran from 1956 to 1965. Bob Barker began hosting the show in 1956 and stayed on until the show left the air in 1974.

After appearing in a number of made-for-television films and series during the mid-1990s, she came to fame for portraying the title role of Felicity Porter on the series Felicity, which ran from 1998 to 2002. Russell has since appeared in several films, including We Were Soldiers, The Upside of Anger and Mission: Impossible III.
Russell was born in Fountain Valley, California to David Russell, a Nissan Motors executive, and Stephanie Stephens. She has an older brother, Todd, and a younger sister, Julie. Russell grew up in Dallas, Texas; Mesa, Arizona; and Denver, Colorado, moving frequently because of her father's job.

Personal Life:
In 2005, several reports claimed that Russell was set to adopt Scientology, after working with actor Tom Cruise, who is a Scientologist, on Mission: Impossible III. Russell's representative subsequently threatened to sue the reporter who first made the claim. Stories about the incident had noted that Russell is of Jewish heritage and religion, although older reports, which had originally suggested her conversion to Scientology, had mentioned that she was once a member of the Mormon church.
As of 2006, Russell resides in New York City. Russell and contractor Shane Deary, both 30, became engaged last year. Russell and Deary wed on February 14, 2007 in New York City. They are expecting their first child in the summer of 2007.

According to sources at the New York Post, Jesse Metcalfe has checked himself in to an undisclosed rehab center for alcohol abuse this week, a rep for the star confirmed.
This decision was made the Monday after Metcalfe had a weekend-long binge at the Mondrian hotel in L.A., where sources reported he looked like he hadn't slept in days and was acting "very angry" and "out of control."
Now, Metcalfe's rep released the following statement:
"On Monday, March 19, Jesse Metcalfe entered a rehab facility to deal with alcohol issues. He realized he had a problem and was anxious to deal with it immediately. The actor, best known as the hunky gardener on the ABC show 'Desperate Housewives' and the star of the film 'John Tucker Must Die,' hopes that the media will allow him the privacy to deal properly with his treatment."
Star mag is reporting that Leonardo DiCaprio is set to marry his Israeli girlfriend Bar Rafaeli.
The couple recently went to Tel Aviv, Israel, so Bar could officially introduce Leo to her family, and "stage a secret engagement party."
Friends of Rafaeli's said the couple hosted an intimate party on March 11, disguised as part of the birthday celebrations for Bar's brother, Neil.
Insiders claim the couple treated guests to chocolate and cupcakes before announcing their engagement with a champagne toast.
A source said, "Bar said that Leo had asked her to marry him and that she had said yes. They'll probably have a private ceremony in Israel, then a big ring ceremony and party in the U.S. toward the end of the year."
The wedding would be a first for Leo and Rafaeli's second--she was married to longtime friend Arik Weinstein in October 2003, but the relationship soon lost it's spark and the couple divorced in 2005.
